What If...We Win?
I know we've all pretty much written off the season and are ready to start talking about whether we'll be introducing Cowher or Shanahan in 2010...but what if things start to click?
What if suddenly we start winning games? What then? Do we give Zorn another year? I guess basically my question is what keeps Zorn here in 2010

Re: What If...We Win?
When that happens Armageddon wil be a........thing of the past.
OH, and JZ stays IF, we demonstrate a modicum of change. The "new" guys start producing. Innovation can be seen in the play calling, and F..n time mgmt. AND we don't limp and LUCK our way to a w-card only to get spanked in the WC game. A clear step forward.....NOT a...see ya' next season for more of the same. I personally am WAY tired of "Groundhog Day". YOU KNOW, inspiring confidence to all that we actually may know WTF we're doing?

Re: What If...We Win?
2nd round playoffs keeps Zorn here. Anything less, and Danny blows up the ship

Re: What If...We Win?
I think it would take one HELL of a turnaround for Zorn to stay. Even though it's not totally ALL his fault we are where we are, things would have to drastically improve.
Our O would have to score bunches of TD's in the coming weeks to keep our D fresh and off the field; ready to come in and kick some heads in. Our ability to manage the clock and score TD's in the redzone would also have to improve. Lots of work ahead for Zorny.....

Re: What If...We Win?
This may be what keeps him but I dont think 9-7 is going to keep him his job.

Re: What If...We Win?
Kinda depends on how that 9-7 is reached and if it includes playoffs or not.

Re: What If...We Win?
I agree I guess but I can't help thinking if Zorn pulls out a 9-7 season he's gone. It would take a major turn around and maybe a blow out or two to be convincing which I just don't see with this team. I guess a play off run even if it's first round would probably satisfy DS and still enable him to go on national tv and gloat about having been the one who selected Zorn.
