I voted 'other' for the review official we're paying. He's the LVP of the season so far, IMO.

Ehh I went with Brunell. Although a case could be made for all those guys. Coles had a pretty decent game, so I'll give him a pass. Portis needs to pick it up, for real. I mean, I dont think he's a bust or anything by any means. Its obvious hes a extremmly good running back, but he cant give games away, which he's done twice. I think Brunell needs to start firing down the feild. I know people dont want to see mistakes and INT's and lord knows I dont either, but we need to take some risks. No one is going to take us seriously if we dont start firing it down the feild a little bit.

The Coaching staff... I want more than anything ot give them a free pass, but they really need to get it together better. Its obvious. I'm not gonna spend time knocking them or anything, I think they know they need to do better and will. The thing with this team, its not effort thats the problem, its execution.

Basically. And if he didn't fumble in NY, we'd be 3-1. We're not, and I'd rather lose these games (as hard as it is on us die hards) than the ones later down the stretch when we're hopefully in the playoff hunt.

Walt Harris is a good candidate for the LVP also.
He got burned all every crucial defensive play.

Mine goes to Portis. When you have a system that is so heavily based on the running game, you've got to have a back that moves the chains and doesn't put the ball on the ground, Portis isn't doing either one right now. For all the money we're paying for this guy, he has to step up his game big time. His fumble was the turning point in the game. With that one play the Skins seemed to have that 'here we go again' attitude and the Browns stole the momentum and never gave it up.

Right now the Skins are their own worst enemy. There's plenty of blame to go around, but the coaches aren't the ones turning the ball over. Time for our playmakers to step the hell up. When you lose the turnover battle, most times you'll lose the game. Simple as that. We shouldn't have to be concerned with not having timeouts left late in the game for a challenge. Guys shouldn't be putting the ball on the ground, PERIOD.

Ditto. Portis.

Portis 1#, Harris 2# and Coles 3#. No reason for the play of three experienced players. Sean Taylor still looks like a rookie. Will he please step up now that he's starting?

I love Sean Taylor, and defintley think he should have a considerable amount of time in all of our games. However, I think we should take a longer look at Andre Lott next week if he's healthy.

I think Taylor's relatively easy preseason could quite possibly be the worst thing that could have happened to him and this team. He's learning that it's not going to be easy. I'm not worried though, he'll come around

I voted for Portis. Or is it more accurate to say I voted against Portis? Either way his performance today was awful. Even without the fumble. Portis is undeniably the star of our team. As the star he has to step up and find a way to make plays.

I too voted Portis LVP. At least after the game he admitted he thought he lost this game. He then said that he thought he was responsible for all 3 of the Redskins losses, I wouldn't go that far. Maybe now he can take that frustration into a game and use it as motivation to not fumble, especially in the red zone. I think Coles is nowhere near 100%. I think there are some hidden injuries that have not been brought up. Coles is one of the hardest working players on this team and its very difficult to see him struggle. As for coach Gibbs, I truly feel for him. He risked it all to come back, not for the money but because he loves this team, our team. I will always respect and look up to him no matter what happens this season or the next 4. It is really disheartening to hear what most fans are saying on the radio and writing in forums like this one and others around the net. Coach has nothing to prove to me, the players on the other hand, have miles to go before they show me that they are real Redskins. As most know, the coach calls a play and it works or it doesn't, but that same play will never work if its not executed correctly. As a final thought, if you have something negative to say about Joe gibbs, Just keep it to yourself because all REAL Redskin fans don't want to hear it. :vomit-smi

Matty I wish you had "whole team" up there. Because it wasn't just Brunell, Portis or Coles. Our defense broke down a couple of times and special teams wasn't special at all. It was a total team failure. Similar to the Giants, and Cowboys game.

We had way too many penalties too......
