Patriots Hire Floyd Reese

This, of course, will turn into a "OMG. Our Front Office Sucks. Why Didn't We Get Floyd Reese" thread but I feel I should post this anyway

Re: Patriots Hire Floyd Reese

See this is why the Pats are always winning and Reese would never come here to work for Dannyboy and his puppet Vinny. Until they are gone we will never have any quality front office personnel or coaches because Dannyboy wants to run this team. We will have some quality players but thats only because Danny will pay them big bucks to come here but then they underperform.

How do you know this? Are you 100% sure? Did you talk to Reese? Please tell us.

Yes I talked to Reese this psst weekend and he confirmed that he would never work for our front office. Not really, but these front office post are getting old and it seems people post stuff like they have talked to people who confirmed they would never come here because of our front office.

Good for the Pats. I like Floyd Reese - he seems pretty solid from what I've seen on ESPN and with his track record with the Titans. I wish we had scooped him up. Then again, he was publicly lobbying for work while on ESPN, and didn't seem to generate much interest until now, so who knows.

lol, well Vinny is here to stay, so it's whatever....he looks like he's trying to change though, so my hate for him is on hold.

Exultations to the Almighty!! I must emphatically inquire as to the purpose and nature of the Redskins Football Club and their reticence in obtaining the services of Mr. Reese while continuing the employment of Mr. Cerrato in the area of talent aquisition. How obtuse!

Reese is good, but he doesn't have the record Charley Casserly has. He's a good GM, I guess anything is better than VC.

This move doesn't surprise me at all. Reece is smart, he's coached, scouted, done contracts and been a damn good NFL GM that worked for one of the cheapest owners in the league. He'll be a great assest to NE. NE's owner knows how to hire good people and let's them do their jobs. No point in talking crap about our front office cause we all know it's 2nd or 3rd tier.

Hey, it's our talent....

Seriously though, it'll be interesting to see how Bill and Reese work together.
