1st cuts - August 31
One week from today is the first round of cuts.
The Redskins must get down to 65. Right now the roster count is 91 (according to Redskins.com). Who stays? Who follows Jimoh out of town ? |

Has Betts ever been healthy? he deserves to be cut...the other RB's bust there ass in training camp every year only to have this guy w/ "potential" keep making the team. I've had it with Betts. get him out of here adn give one of these other backs a chance.

I'd hate to see Cloman go, I don't think he's been given a fair shot in games. Last year at training camp he seemed like the favorite receiver.

Sultan McCullough should be on the regular season roster as the primary backup to Portis. Ladell Betts is expendable in part because we can trade him for a mid to late round draft choice.

Also, on a side note: When was the last time that the Skins had enough depth to be looking at cutting guys on the first cut who could be NFL players (not necessarily starters but good back up types? Don't recall that debate last year. |
