What about Tiki?
Any comments from Tiki this week? I wonder if Tikis job will be lost because he cannot rip on the Giants any longer. I mean that was his specialty, talking about how Eli sucked, Coughlin sucked, and how they were the most disfuntional team in the league. I personally hated watching NBC because of Collinsworth and Barber. I hate the Giants, but I am glad they won......never thought i would say that.

Re: What about Tiki?
Im glad too, and Tiki missing out is delicious. I hope it keeps him out of the HOF.
I have a life time $50 bet with my roommate from last year that Portis makes the HOF before Tiki. |

The HOF has nothing to do with SuperBowls, ask Dan Marino. You might as well pay up know Portis isn't close to Tiki. |

Re: What about Tiki?
When I went up to Tom Jackson at the superbowl thats the first thing he said to me, "man, can you imagine how tiki barber must be feeling right now, with knots in his stomach, just sick".
I heard that no one from the Giants would allow Tiki to interview them, I was told this and wasnt watching tv since i was at the game. I was also told that Couglin said one of his regrets is that Tiki couldnt have stayed on the team and played with them in the super bowl, which is much classier than tiki bashing them all year

Anyway, yeah Tiki's "hard hitting journalism" seems to rub on people the wrong way, so a lot of people, myself included, can do without him. Hell I enjoyed watching Keyshawn more then Tiki, and thats saying something.

Re: What about Tiki?
CP still has a ways to go in his career. Tiki is a very borderline HOF guy.

Re: What about Tiki?
I saw the report Tiki did for the Today Show and he at least acted professional. I was surprised. However I am sure he is cursing himself leaving.
Of course we are all assuming that he cared a lot about winning a Superbowl. I always got the felling that that guy was more about personal gains(money, HOF, etc) than he was about titles. |

He only missed significant action in 1 NFL season, 2006 when he broke his hand. Do you realize he's only 26 and already has 7,715 rushing yards and 63 TDs? Meanwhile Barber has 10,449 yards and 55 TDs. All Portis would need is 2 more seasons at an average of 1,367 yards to catch Barber. |

Re: What about Tiki?
Samuels maybe, but it'd be a stretch since none of our offenses were elite during his time.. It's so hard for TE to get in and Cooley is behind Gonzalez, Gates and Witten as top of the game right now. Too soon to tell for Landry..
