I saw this on signings hotline the other day... and forgot to post it... I know the place in Laurel had him for less not that long ago:

Man, as always I appreciate the autograph info, but that fee is the most outrageous thing I've seen. I know some of the guys at the Chantilly Show charge insane fees, but even there I don't think anyone charges $200/auto (maybe they do, I could be wrong). I generally don't mind paying to get autos, but that is nuts. Wow!

That is an outrageous fee. I think I paid $70 for Sonny and $35 for Billy Kilmer in Chantilly last year.

CLINTON PORTIS is now having a public meet and greet event!!
Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis will make a personal appearance at The Athlete’s Foot (TAF) store in Warrenton, VA to greet the public and award a regional winner of the footwear retailer’s In My Shoes back-to-school contest. The In My Shoes campaign encourages students nationwide to aspire, achieve and excel this school year by inviting them to share their performance goals through written and video entries. Regional winners are awarded a meet-and-greet opportunity with a professional athlete from their area. WHEN: Tuesday, October 30, 2007 Public Meet and Greet: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Prize Presentation / Media Interviews: 7:00 – 7:30 p.m. |
