Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
I know it's only friday but I'm a bit worried about those guys who could miss sunday's game. Though Randle el is expecting to play, we don't know about Daniels, Washington and Smoot. I was wondering if you guys had any updates.

Smoot was just sick - stomach flu. He'll be alright on sunday. He's got to be fired up to play against the old fellow mississipi native qb. |

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
It would really suck not to have MArcus Washington. Aside form his play, I see him as a big energy guy. I think we can survive without Randle El for a week. We got Santana back, and maybe they willa ctually play Brandon Lloyd. Plus, Thrash and McCardell have proved they can catch some passes, and we still got Caldwell.
I agree about Daniels. We got some young talent there. |

I too am worried about all these guys. Maybe Smoot the least, but Randle El has been a huge part of our offense. Against a good Green Bay D we need as many guys healthy as we can get. I'm most worried about Marcus Washington, we can use him to put added pressure on Brett.

My guess is Randle El will play, MW and Daniels are iffy.

I didn't even realize that Godfrey had played most of the Lions game last week. He's probably going to start this weekend in place of MW. I'm kinda anxious to see how he plays. I liked that pick up. Hope I was right

Godfrey fits in nicely with this system. I too liked that pick up. Also, on third downs bring in Wilson with some speed off the corner and hope it works out nicely.

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
Randle El----Moss is back, he can pick up the load he should have been carrying all season anyway.
Daniels----Demetric or that new kid can fill in and get equally good rush, if not run support. Smoot----my heart cries out when he's not playing, he and Marcus are the energy centers of our defense. Washington----again, i don't like losing his energy. But in our system, a vet like Godrey can pick up the load against a bad running team like Green Bay. |

as long as our secondary is full strength, since the packers pass so much...

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
Bet Washington and Daniels will give it a try--their tough guys. Agree that Marcus is the more important, but having fresh bodies on the D line with Mr. Passer-gun-slinger back there is important. Smoot had a stomach flue, he'll be there.
RAE really depends--hard to say right now.

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
As much as Moss is a game breaker, I feel like Randle El can evade tackles better and create more in space...this has the feel of one of those games that you play people even if they're a little banged up...its a big game...take the gamble...why save players for later if there's nothing to save them for?

thought that was interesting that during the Detroit game, bubba Tyler said Marcus Washington has the highest threshold for pain of anyone on the skins. i would be surprised if he didn't at least give it a shot

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
I don't want to see Marcus take the field if he isn't at least 85%. Like Ray Lewis on that first Monday night game. He was hurt really bad, but he stayed on the field. He played good enough for a guy with one arm but I think their backup could have been more effective. If playing Marcus is a detriment to the team then I don't want him on the field.

Re: Randle El, Daniels, Smoot, Washington??
I hate to see Washington off the field, but if he's hurt he's hurt and like I said before I don't want a 75% Marcus Washington on the field. I want as close to 100% as he can get. Who is going to take his spot? We could really use Lemar Marshall right now.
