Re: Who's the coolest that you met??
Too funny! Gibbs does everything with his guts out.
In 1990, I met Mark Rypien on Easter Sunday in Annapolis. I've never been an autograph guy, but I like to go up to players, tell them that I appreciate what they do, and wish them luck for the upcoming game or season. Rypien was with his wife and infant, yet he still chatted with me for a couple minutes just after the service - just a genuinely nice guy. A very big guy for a QB too - he looked to be about 6'4" and a solid 235-240 lbs. |

I would have to agree. Perhaps the nicest Skin out there. He spent almost 15 minutes just personally talking to my brother. Great guy. Cooley is just down to earth and fun.
And LaVar as well. Alotta haters here, but what he gave to the community was great and he really did love fans.

Re: Who's the coolest that you met??
I've gotten autographs by many of the current players and a good percentage of the starters. I've spoken to everyone that i've met but some don't last very long. Like i have 3 joe gibbs autographs but i really didn't say anything and the one time that i did he responded by saying, "yah".
I had a good 5 minute talk with sean taylor once so that would have to be it. I have two sean taylor autographs and the second time I saw him he actually recognized me from the first time. I want to see some of the old guys though. |

But yeah, i never really tried for old players. I have a charley taylor autograph but it means nothing to me because i didn't get it myself. I guess this will be the first if i go. |

Re: Who's the coolest that you met??
I'm not into autographs but I've spoken to several players when I ran into them in public. I met Doug Williams years ago when he was an assistant at Navy, and he couldn't have been any nicer. When I shook his hand, I was struck by how large his hand was - pretty much swallowed my hand whole.
I met Tiki Barber Thanksgiving weekend at my family's morning tailgate prior to the recent UVA - VA Tech game. Also a very nice guy - we gave him a Bloody Mary when he stopped by. I told him that I was a Skins fan, but really respected the way he ran the ball. We chatted a little about his new career which I think will be a good one for him - he's pretty smooth in front of the camera. |

I am going to go WAY back! Billy Kilmer and Sonny were the absolute best! They both took the time to sign a few things for me when I was 6 (1976) over at my uncle's house while viewing a boxing match. Yes, both were loaded!!!
