Leave it to Al Davis to keep everyone in suspense. That little rascal!

How many years has it been since we did not already know the 1st pick before the draft?

Anyways, the Raiders are on the clock and i just cracked my 1st beer.....let the games commence!

I think the Raiders made a mistake by letting the quarterback of the future sit there like an idiot.

Totally. Al Davis should go to the guy and talk to him about why they did that. But I doubt he does.

Re: The Official 2007 Draft Discussion Thread

Do you think that teams leak fake trade talk just to show fans they showed due diligence? I know this happens in the NBA near trade deadline. Teams leak that they are in talks , when they have no desire to make a trade. When the trade "fails" they just say the other team wanted to much. This could be why there is always alot of trade talk during pre draft time but no real trades.

They cant draft a WR again. WR in the first round are a crap shoot and the fall off of skill isn't that bad from first round to 3rd. Why not Joe Thomas? I really think this guy is the most unrated in the first 10 picks.

Looks like I was wrong I should never underestimate the Loins ability to do something stupid. Is he draft bait? Or are they keeping him?

They must be mulling a lot of options right now.

Wow...Detroit drafting another WR. Don't they do this every year?

Cleveland's up. If they don't take Quinn here our trade for more picks scenario will be looking good!

i just have a feeling that we will not go at 6 and we will trade. All the waiting around for nothing.

That would be good for us, IMHO. There is no one at 6 that will help us as much as someone at 9-13 plus some more draft picks.
