Jean-Jacques Taylor, of the Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys WR Terrell Owens did not know the team's entire playbook last season. Members of the organization knew Owens was not familiar with the playbook. On occasion, QB Tony Romo and others would have to tell him plays during practice.

I guess they must have had the play book and given him a quiz! I'm not much on these types of stories as most are BS. I'm not a TO fan but he has never done anything as a player (on the field) that would lead me to believe this as he always seem prepared to play. Oh, I just read it again and it said "during pratice". Isn't that what pratice is for?

I, too, hate him with a soul searing passion that is far out of proportion to his temporary existence as a football player. I, however, refuse to give him a free pass. The media and the fans may have fanned the flames and, at times, outright poured fuel on them. But he is the one who lit them in the first place with his off the field commentary and on-the-field antics.

- Sorry, his "celebrations" were taunts of his opponents and celebrations of his personal acheivement in a team game.

- In Philly, when the media showed up in droves on his driveway, did he do ANYTHING to dissuade the ensuing media circus.

- How many QB's did he throw under the bus?

- His latest sleeping and failure to prepare statements, just the kind of example I hold up for my son on how to take advantage of the gifts given to you.

On top of all that, he consistently plays the victim card as if he had nothing to do with the incredible scrutiny he has brought upon himself. He is the epitome of a poor sport and his failure to acknowledge his own selfishness enrages me.

As unpopular as this may sound to other Skins fans - no, I did not. In fact, it made me angry and all I could think was "What a selfish ass". It was the ultimate in unsportmanship. Owens actions were intended to taunt and show-up both the opposing team and the fans. It was as if he spit in everyone (including his own teammates) faces. Sorry, I don't condone that against anyone or by anyone. Go to Philly if that's what you want to see.

Well Joe I'll tell you what, you are SO much more a better person than me because I loved it. When he stood on the star in the middle of Texas Stadium I laughed my ass off. It made me feel good because I can remember when the Cowboys said they would break up the Fun Bunch if the Skins did it. Which is something that they did ! I HATED the Cowboys for that. The Cowboys have been thrown in my face as "America's Team" since I was born and it made me feel good to see them disrespected like that. I have been trained to hate the Dallas Cowboys since burth and it is a skill that I have honed since. It also made me feel good that Darren Woodson ( was it ? ) stuck T.O. when he did it because that's what he deserved.

I'm laughing right now thinking about it. Anyhoo, screw T.O. and the Dallas Cowboys !
