I don't get what the Colts are thinking. How do you let this guy walk?

If you aren't going to utilize his kick returning ability (as the Colts didn't last year), hes really not worth the money. Guys who run the ball like Rhodes are everywhere. If Oakland has him return kicks, this is a solid signing for them. If they aren't, they would have been better off making Fargas the starter there.

I don't know about that. Rhodes knows the Colts system and always performed when called upon. I doubt you an just throw in any RB and do what Rhodes has done. He's not a great player but he's damn good. In today's NFL you need two guys. But I'm sure they have a plan. Polian knows what he's doing.

Didn't everyone say the same thing about Edgerrin James?

Any average running back could wind up looking like a superstar in Indy.

They let James go last year and he's a better back.Yet they still won a super bowl. This is the Colts they can throw any RB in there.Thats what happens when you have Peyton Manning.

At least it wasn't the Giants, I really thought they would have scooped him up.

You're right about that. I don't think Rhodes is all that great by himself, but coupled with Jacobs hes could have been a real headache.

I wonder what that transition is going to be like for him. It would be like trading in your tricked out Escalade for a '91 Geo Storm. I hope it's worth that extra spending money for him.

Jeez, after winning the Super Bowl, he goes to Oakland to die behind that thing they call a line.
That's like getting out of Eva Longoria's bed and jumping into Courtney Love's.

Ugh
