Not so fast out here on the left coast KMBR and KHTK said this now opens the door for Garcia to play in Oakland!

That's a VERY interesting trade. I can see CJ being their target in the draft without a doubt now.

I doubt though that CJ will fall to them. Someone, either Detroit of another team via trade, will get him.

If Detroit takes him, all I can say is:

Garcia to Denver makes sense too. It is not like they are deep throwing offense, I think Garcia would play a good backup role.

they are a deep throwing offense though. tons of their plays have either deep routes or deep decoys.

Finaly news of some kind! Nice move I think. That sick reciever from GT would be real nice for Tampa with a solid veteran leading the team even though Plummer is kind of a spaz.

Re: ESPN: Jake Plummer Traded to Tampa for Mid-Round Pick

interesting qb situation there now. I guess this means they aren't going with Quinn.

I can't wait to hear Phil Simms' analysis on this one. Remember when that receiver for Tampa dropped that pass in the endzone, and Simms blew his top on the air saying it should have been a catch?

Re: ESPN: Jake Plummer Traded to Tampa for Mid-Round Pick

I'd be surprised to see Garcia in Denver. If anything he's shown he is a system QB, and they don't run what he does there.
Now, Garcia in Oakland,, that I could see.

Re: ESPN: Jake Plummer Traded to Tampa for Mid-Round Pick

I'd have to agree. Not only would Garcia command more than just a backup QB type of contract, they already have Cutler.
