F...wisdom teeth removal

Just got all four of them today and it hurts like a bitch. I have to continuously replace my gaaze and painkillers. Oh yeah I have been eating jello and baby food! I cant talk on the phone or go out.

Had mine pulled about 18 years ago. I remember my mom feeling bad for me because she fixed steaks for dinner that night. She actually pureed the steak for me.

Re: F...wisdom teeth removal

I was fine when I got all four of mine taken out a few years ago. I thought it was weird because a few years prior to that I had surgery on my nose after I broke it realyl badly at wrestling practice and I reacted terribly to the anethsia (sp?) and my face hurt for a week. But for some reason my teeth didn't bother me much.

Re: F...wisdom teeth removal

That's how I was. I guess we both got lucky because I've had friends who looked like freaks.

One thing that sucked for me was that my mom is a nurse and controlled my pain meds accordingly. She even hid them, so I was pretty pissed.

yeah I have heard good things about that. Unfortunately I cant drink because the teeth sockets are still bleeding for me, so it would probably burn alot.

Yeah I am takin Vicodin but i dont see why people pop it. It doesn't even give you a good feeling, just makes you feel a bit tired but not too much.

Re: F...wisdom teeth removal

Heh i had mine pulled last week, Poste dit in F..Friday Nights or something like that i supose. My bleeding stopped 4 hours after the surgery but the pain was not that bad.

The second day i was eating small chicken bites along with my milkshakes and puddin and spegeti O's and chicken noodle soup but i was in less pain then the first day, (Most people say the second day is worse)

3rd day is suposedly the worste but i wanted to go out and play paintball i was feeling so good, unfortunately i could not becuase my mom didnt want me to bust the stitches. Most of my friends were down for awhile but it really depends on pain tolerence. Some people go into thinking this is gonna hurt like hell i went into it say im gonna play paintball sunday come hell or highwater. Also depends on how many are impacted, all 4 of mine were.

Anyway GL and HF

BTW i had some major swelling like a fricken balloon and i am still a little swollen but not noticable on the outside.

Hm that is wierd bc I almost no swelling, but I dont think I got stitches because my specialist didnt say anything about them, and I don't have to go back to meet him, unless there is a complication.

Him really, well that is a good thing to know because there was a piece of something that was sticking way out so i pulled it out. It looked like a piece of gauze, but it might have a been a stitch.

Gotta call my doctor tomorrow lol. But it stopped bleeding and all that, it seems ok.

Thanks for the info.

Re: F...wisdom teeth removal

I had mine taken out by a former Redskins kicker who I guess sucked at kicking so he became a dcotor. Don't even know his name now. It was like 10 years ago and he in his 40's then.
