2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
With 5 losses I think it's safe to say the playoffs are out of the picture barring an epic turnaround.
Not that I think it's going to make a dramatic difference this year, but I think it's time to start Campbell and start building towards next year. We need to get an idea if this kid can play. Let him take his lumps and get some game experience. Get some of the youngers guys in there too like McIntosh. |

Please, please take Holdman out. I swear I saw miss at least 3 or 4 tackles today. He's horrible. McIntosh couldn't do any worse.

I admit this was not Warrick Holdman' s best game although he had six tackles but I think the linebackers were a little off with Lemar Marshall being out and Rocky and Khari really not understanding what to do on the field and then they had Holdman playing MIC and he is a WIL linebacker. But Rocky looked like a fish out of water I am not even sure if he had any tackles at all so please please get off of Holdmans ass |

And while you're at it, take Andre Carter out on running downs, replacing him with Daniels at right DE and Wynn at left DE. Carter and Holdman are a horrible combination stopping the run on the right side of our D. Having paid huge money for Carter and Archuletta with paltry production is killing the defense.

The team fears that if the put Campbell in now they'll be sending the message that the season is over.

Old Gibbs can't give up on the season? Funny he can't give up on a game either, he had a chance to give Campbell some playing time in the 4th and instead let Brunell hobble around the field, very entertaining. Then we are kicking fieldgoals AGAIN when we need 3 TD's, I do believe Gibbs has absolutly lost it. At this point I don't think gibbs knows if he's coming or going. The 2 of them kind of remind me of Laurel and Hardy, Brunell is Stan Laurel of coarse because he has the same goofy smurk with the protruding chin. |

Re: 2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
It is over! Let's not kid ourselves. Last year we were 5-6 when we made our run. We have to go 3-1 next month just to get to the same point we were last year!

Re: 2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
I know its over, but does the orginization have the balls to admit it and the skins would have to do better than 3-1 next month, they'll have to go 8-1 to have a decent shot at the wild-card.

Yes. He can't play any worse than Brunell really.

Re: 2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
Put in Campbell. Brunell is good at not losing games at this point, but with the defense we currently field, we need a QB who will be a gunslinger and takes the chances that can win games.

Re: 2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
um no, "not losing games" and "winning now" both imply WINNING. Brunell is only good at not throwing INTs. above actually trying to win games.

Re: 2-5 at the bye: time to make changes
Brunell definately needs to go. But what about the defense? It was pathetic, even if we were going against Peyton Manning. And what about the O-line? Jansen AND Samuels were awful. Samuels got owned today and Jansen has been getting toasted all year.
