What would you trade for secondary help?
I was watching NFL Replay of the Skins-Jags and saw Duckett on the sidelines. I don't know how the contract stuff would work, but my question is this:
Would you trade Duckett for Ryan Clark? Our secondary needs help, but we need someone that already knows the system or a trade is pointless. The Steelers need Duckett. We need help in the secondary. The Steelers would be getting the better deal, but it still may be a deal that would work for us. Thoughts?

Oh, and as for "thoughts".. I do think Williamns can get Wright and Rogers to where we need to be for the playoffs IF things go in our favor these next few games. We just need time, and during that time we needs Ws!!!!!!

Re: What would you trade for secondary help?
TJ Duckett definately...for a CB. I am not sure that Springs is going to play at all this season. I would like to trade for a proven corner. I think that would be one of the easiest position to come into a learn. More than a safety position. safeties make a lot of the calls on D.

Re: What would you trade for secondary help?
i would make that trade in a heartbeat. i love Ryan Clark and his aggressiveness. plus, he worked well with Sean Taylor. the only problem still would be preilou's injury. subbed for Clark alot in obvious passing situations

I would trade all your children...I'll toss in mine when I have them. For now though I implore you to donate your children to "The Cause."

Re: What would you trade for secondary help?
We have everything we need for a run to the super bowl, unless this Springs issue was a sports hernia which I heard someone on WP ask, but if we needed a CB I would trade TJ b/c Betts is on par with Portis w/ Portis active, and move Patten also in a deal.
This train is bound for glory

I'll never understand why some people are so in love with Ryan Clark.

Re: What would you trade for secondary help?
Why woulI just sign Ahmad Carroll if I desperately needed secondary help? As of one week ago, he was a nickel CB for Green Bay. He had, by all accounts, a rotten second half of football against Philadelphia - but he wasn't where he was for nothing.
He'll likely get a 1 year prorated minimum salary deal this year from someone. I think our coaching staff should examine the tape on him very closely.

clark would help uss more than duckett right now. duckett won't get us a good cb though, and that's something we really need. |
