Punter Switched by Aliens
Uh Derek Frost has gone from the absolute worst punter in the NFL to an All Pro animal? What's his secret and do we even want to know? He is killing the ball on punts. I sure hope he keeps this up or the Aliens don't return the real Frost until the offseason.

Re: Punter Switched by Aliens
Seriously, frost is absolutley KILLING the football right now. That one punt where Buchanon was litterally running backwards as fast as he could had me lowering my beer and going "holy...shit"

Re: Punter Switched by Aliens
Frost sure has shut alot of people up.
Very nice to see. And hey, Hall banged one in from 40+ today. Guess it's good we held on to these guys after all. |

Re: Punter Switched by Aliens
I wouldnt go that far, thats pushing it,but i will give props to the kickers for the game,Frost hasnt shanked a punt in 2 games, which is probably a record for him, hope he keeps it up,maybe taking the kickoff duty away from him has helped him,but i wish he was still kicking off,I dont see how Hall kicking off can help his leg plus he doesnt kick as deep as Frost,I just dont understand these coaches descisions

Re: Punter Switched by Aliens
That's why we should be glad the fans don't coach the team.

Re: Punter Switched by Aliens
are you saying you agree with the descision to let hall kickoff? why?
Matty,i dont know what i've done to you but i've obviously touched a nerve, you disagree with every post i write, and this looks like a personal attack When i posted the kickers let us down in the first game you were the first one to chime in about how i was wrong, but i'd say you were overwhelmingly outvoted on that post, and I wasnt saying they lost the game for us,just that they let us down, more specifacly,Hall, frost had a decent game, but he did shank one You say thats why the fans shouldnt coach the team, but most of the fans know we needed to do something about our kickers ,{ Tony Mcgee for one, what did he say"When you look at John Hall, thats a kick that an NFL kicker needs to make down the stretch. At the same time, I can't completely blame Hall for that because its not a gimmie kick. This is a need that certianly should have addressed during the offseason".} A NEED THAT CERTAINLY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED But i do have to hand it to you, your positve outlook on the skins is something i wish i had,I do tend to drift toward the neg side |

Frost i'll agree with, he's played very well thusfar this year. Today he had some huge kicks that we were really able to take advantage of as far as feild position. In fact, if you watch the game last week, if anyone else on our team really wanted to play, he could have been someone who made a huge difference in the outcome of the game. Needs to consistant throughout the year, but very happy with Frost so far. Hall still has to make up for about...oh 4 or 5 late fourth quarter feild goals that he's missed over his course of time here that I'm still very bitter about. Making a feild goal from 40 yards is somthing, especially indoors that needs to be automatic from a kicker. If Hall making one from 40 yards is somehow impressive, I think it makes the point that he's not a great kicker at this point. Thats just my opinion. Furthermore, he needs to do it late in the 4th to really make a difference for me.
