Eagles or Giants?

Hey guys, what would you rather see: a Giants loss or an Eagles loss this week? I give more respect to the Giants overall so I would rather them lose as much as possible now and then worry about the Eagles later in the season.

Thoughts?

Re: Eagles or Giants?

I'm more worried about the Eagles. I don't think the Giants will go any better than 8-8 with the schedule they're facing. The Eagles are also a better team, mainly because they have a MUCH MUCH better QB.

I'd rather see the Eagles lose. But I also don't think that will happen.

Eagles 24 Giants 19

That's a good point. I didn't really give schedule strength any weight.

It's kind of a funny thing when people talk about schedule strength within the NFC East because each team plays 14 common opponents. There are 6 games against the NFC East teams, then 4 against the NFC South, and 4 against the AFC South. But the other two games do really make that much difference in my mind. The Giants have to play Chicago and Seattle. Meanwhile the Eagles get the Packers and the 49ers. Big difference there. Chicago and Seattle, in my mind, will both be NYG losses. Meanwhile the Packers and 49ers will be ridiculously easy wins for the Eagles.

Of course anything can happen and we don't have a crystal ball. But from where I sit, that's what I'm figuring.

I would rather see the Giants lose. I thought the Eagles were going to be pretty good this year anyway.

I want to see the Giants get in that two game hole and let us and the Eagles duke it out for the division title.

Wouldn't that mean the Skins would have to win a game first ?

Ya know I read my post and it sounds like I was being a smart ass,I apologize I really wasn't trying to take a shot .The East is such a tuff divison there is only gonna be a 2 game seperation from 1st to last IMHO .Gibbs has been there before once he makes adjustments he's gold!

Re: Eagles or Giants?

I hate to say this but i look for the giants to rebound against the beagles this weekend. This is almost a must win for the giants. They dont win they could possibly be 0-3 to start the season. If you look at what the eagles have after the giants we sure could use them losing this weekend.

Re: Eagles or Giants?

i want the giants to win because i fvcking hate the eagles, and im tired of the national media always blowing them even after a 6-10 season. they beat the fvcking texans week one, wow, guess they are going back to the nfc championship in espn's eyes

Re: Eagles or Giants?

It's close. But Eagles win by 7. Dante Stallworth will have another good game. Giants still are weak in the secondary.

I don't care, so long as McNabb goes for 300+ and at least 2 TDs. He's the lynchpin of my fantasy roster.

Frankly, I'd take a tie.

I'd hate to rely on a division rival for my fantasy team. I try not to get any Cowboys or Eagles on my teams. I do have Stallworth on one team (had him before the trade) and Julius Jones will ride the pine on one of my teams unless someone wants him in a trade.

I do have Tiki Barber too, but I like him (as a person and player) despite being on the Giants.

I could NEVER root for a Cowboy, for ANY reason.

In my fantasy, we beat the cow-not-quite-men, 79-0, and a meteor hits the stadium during the e-girls, g-nomes game.

Re: Eagles or Giants?

I don't like either team but just for the fact that the Eagles haven't lost yet...I'll take them.
