Eagles for real?

I think the eagles looked much more sharp than the giants or cowboys and they should not be slept on in our division like many people on this site are doing if I am wrong to be concerned let me know cause i love it when ya keep it real!!

Re: eages for real?

It realy dosn't matter if we take them lightly I know our team and coatching staff won't. I only saw part of the first half when Houston was still playing them pretty tough. I think we will know more about them after next week because Huston is not a good team.

Re: eages for real?

With McNabb back and healthy, the Eagles definitely will contend with the three other teams for the NFC East title. It would be nice not to have to think about them again this year, but I don't think that will be the case.

Re: eages for real?

Look at who they were playing.

The Giants and Cowboys both played playoff caliber teams, while the Eagles played a team that will likely be competing for a top 5 pick.

I think the Eagles will be much improved this year, but beating a lowly Texans team doesn't impress me all that much.

Yeah, but they thrashed the Texans in the second half....that has to count for something.

Remember folks, last year we barely beat them and if you think they'll just roll over and die this year you are sadly mistaken. We should be OK at home but in Philly, I'm definitely concerned.

enough said. Cowboys and Giants played teams that have been to the playoffs once in their existence.

Re: Eagles for real?

We'll see about those Eagles next week when they play the G-men. Next week will say alot about how tough our division is gonna be WSH vs DAL and NYG vs PHI. Needless to say wins outside the division are critical.

the eagles will be much improved, and with that gravy schedule they have, we have to take care of business when we get the chance

Re: Eagles for real?

they will go 4-0...first 4 games are too easy....but then they will stumble....not worried until they beat someone playoff worthy

Re: Eagles for real?

eagles is surely the wild card in our division with mcnabb being healthy
I just hope that we can split out game with them (very difficult to win in their homecourt) and sweep both giants and cowboys

Re: Eagles for real?

The Eagles are going to be a tough game for everyone.. They are still weak at the WR position but McNabb, if healthy, is a top 5 QB and can lead them to 8-9 wins. I'm not buying them as a frontrunner in the division yet though.
