Re: how to create .pdf

There has to be a freeware application that does this.

If you happen to have a copy of AutoCad, you can plot to Acrobat Distiller instead of an actual plotter, that's how I make my .pdf files here at work.

Owning the full version of Acrobat is the best way to make that happen. Fans of BitTorrent may know how to receive a "discounted" version.

Re: how to create .pdf

You can create documents using OpenOffice 2.0 and export the file to a PDF file. It's pretty nifty though you can't create fill-able forms (just basic forms using tables) as everything is converted to a image then exported to a PDF file.

Re: how to create .pdf

on my laptop at home, i use this: pdf 995: create PDF documents easily for free They install a print driver that allows you to print to a PDF file.

on the Adobe website you can use their utility to create as well...not sure the limitations though.

Re: how to create .pdf

if you don't want to go the bittorrent route, openoffice is the best choice. its a free microsoft office type application (full featured too).

You might also want to try Scribus.
