Talking Marriucci gives us our props..

Steve Marriucci, talking to Rich Eisen, referred to the Skins as 'a playoff team that has added to it's talent with the additions of Andre Carter, Randell-El and Brandon Lolyd....' and went on to say that we were a real contender.

I just thought it would be refreashing for you guys to hear from someone who actually knows whats up. The video is at NFL.com.

I thought it was interesting that when somebody actually admitted we were a contender it was an actual football coach and not just a media personality.

I found the link, on the right side of the NFL.com home page, under "NFL Network: Video features"... 4th selection down. However, I can't view it because it is in Real Audio player format, and I refuse to load the intrusive software on my laptop.

LOL @ Lacalot Lynk

This is somewhat off topic, but does anyone else think that Rich Eisen really sucks as a host. He always comes off as somewhat unprepared, his questions are horrible, he fawns over the players, and he doesn't really appear to know much about football. "Total" Access is complete fluff . . . they need to get someone else on there who actually knows the game.

the nfl owns him, he's supposed to be nice to the players and not go barbara walters on them... I don't think he's really that bad, but he is what he is.

Love hearing about the skins get their due respect, but I also like when everyone under-estimates the team, because that is when they seem to do their best, when everyone thinks we are down and out.

Especially in an era where the No-Respect card is getting way overplayed. When Tom Brady starts using it you know its gone too far. However as far as the Skins' are concerned I still deem them elgible to play the No-Respect card. Media is starting to come around but they're scared to stay on the bandwagon for more than a week at a time.

All coaches talk good about other teams its part of saying the correct thing. Did you think that he was going to say that the players we picked up were not very good and that we would be lucky to be a 50/50 team this year.
