good solid depth player with a very friendly price. Love it and kudos to the FO.

Re: Redskins | Contract update: Evans
Shocking, frankly. He's worth a lot more than that. No complaints tho.

Re: Redskins | Contract update: Evans
I love the fact we're headed into '06 with some nice depth on the defensive line for a change.
Our lack of depth really hurt us in '05 when Griffin and Salave'a were banged up. |

I definitely think the Skins have addressed the DL much better than they have in recent years. |

Re: Redskins | Contract update: Evans
oh course it'd hurt if griffin went down. he's a starter and probably our best defensive player. You can't have stud players 3 deep at every position. Its part of the trade off of having a salary cap.

Re: Redskins | Contract update: Evans
I really think that even if Carter doesn't put up huge sack numbers, his pressure will allow more turnovers in general.

Hopefully they've done enough to address the D-line, and the addition of Carter certainly helps. But I still believe it's going to require more retooling with some high draft picks. (If we ever see them again) |

Re: Redskins | Contract update: Evans
I think we're set for this year, although I'd like to see one or two more additions in the next year or two. I miss the days when we had Charles Mann, Dexter Manley, Dave Butz, and Daryl Grant on the same line together.
