The American Dream Come True

Hey Guys,

I this was a dream come true, As you know I am a resident and Philippine citizen, and always dreaming when can I come to the USA.

but, praise God, my answers were answered. I was hired to work in California and am really excited to come there and also to experience living in america

I hope that I can strive and apply for immigrant

anyway, can I ask minimum salary for and engineer there,
I was offered 4000 per month, is that enough?
can I save,
anyway I agree with that for the sake of going and working there

It's all relevant to the cost of living in the area. $4k is quite a bit in some areas, and chump change in others. What area of CA? Maybe there are some warpathers from there that can advise?

$48K a year should be enough just about anywhere you live, depending on your own standard of living of course.

Re: The American Dream Come True

You can live on 48,000 a year just about anywhere. Congrats! Oh and apply to be a citizen. I think we should welcome all immigrants to our country as long as they come here like bertoskins. With a dream to be successful and contribute to the Ameriacn society. Makes me proud to know we are the most open country and should stay that way.

Re: The American Dream Come True

lol at BSB.

Congrats man. If you are looking for a single apartment to rent, then i would think it is enough. I'm not real good at all this cost of living stuff, seeing as i'm only a teenager, but i think an apartment is somewhere in that area.
