Holley Mangold girl football player OL

DId anyone watch the NFL network tonite and see the H.Mangold story?
It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Well first in my high school days we had females wrestlers and once or twice we heard teams we played had a girl on the HS football team. So its nothing special just humorous. But NFL network just did the funniest thing and show her on camera. Imagine a short girl maybe 5'6" but she must way 250lbs. Her legs look las wide as my waist. I dunno I got a laugh/gross feeling watching this young cow run around and really be fat. Blah. I only wish I could be matched up with that. Oh it was hilarious and nasty at the same time.

She's 5'9" 300 lbs. Her brother Nick is also 300 lbs., but he's 6'4"

More power to her though

Re: Holley Mangold girl football player OL

Wow....we KNOW she's not 300 pounds of muscle like a lot of big guys in football.

She must be tough to move.

My junior high school team had a girl who played the O-line but she was a tough, strong farm girl. She could really block and knock a guy's block off too. She stopped playing in 9th or 10th grade to work, but she was good when she was there. Our team was district champs too and got knocked out of the state playoffs by Jeff Smoker. She played some good competition.

This 300-pound girl is probably not a great player, it just takes so long to run around her that the QB will have thrown the ball already by the time a defender reaches him. You can't go through her, I'm sure.

Why do you keep mentioning Jeff Smoker? That's at lest the 2nd time you've mentioned him in a few days.
Are you stalking him?

I don't like the guy. Hey...how often does your high school team get to play an NFL player? Actually we played (and lost to) Brandon Streeter also. He went to Clemson.

Oh, and the first mention was NOT in the last 2 days. Twice in nearly 2 months (and only twice total) is not SOOOOO bad.

I'll try to stop for you though.

Good for you. Welcome to the board! I think what we all really want to know is...Off the record, what does your brother think of Patrick Ramsey (be brutally honest)

Seriously though, glad we could offer you a forum to speak. And don't worry, we're good people. We just like to tease.

Sister of Jets Rookie Plays Football Too (phillyBurbs.com) | Football
Her brother is on the Jets. I wonder if he can get past her.

VIDEO - Nfl - Deadspin

Holy crap, she's bigger than her brother, an NFL lineman. She can barely run.

I thought the funniest part of the video is that one of her teammates wears # 00.

I saw the story on NFL also. Gotta give her credit for wanting to compete and working with what God gave her.

Well technically, God gave her a 6-8 pound body...she took over from there.

At about 2min into the clip the coach she loves to hit and gets no special treatment. He then goes on to say she love the hamburger drill.

Re: Holley Mangold girl football player OL

first of all this girl is not only the strongest girl (squat wise) in the nation but has been playing football for about 10years now. she also is 290 and is not the slowest person on the team meaning alot of that wieght is muscle. those who have not walked through her shoes can not pass judgement
