Let's Show Marcus Some Love
From Lenny P:
"Much of the attention in Washington has been on the lack of playing time for linebacker LaVar Arrington, who is said to have practiced well this week, and who might actually log some snaps in Sunday's game against the 49ers. It might be time, though, to focus on a linebacker who is on the field all the time for the Redskins and making plays for coordinator Gregg Williams. Very quietly and without much acclaim, strongside 'backer Marcus Washington, a surprise Pro Bowl selection in 2004, is having a terrific year once again. Washington has 36 tackles in six games, and hasn't yet recorded a sack, and his numbers are slightly off from a year ago, when he registered 107 tackles and 4½ sacks. But the six-year veteran, signed as an unrestricted free agent in 2004 after he spent his first four seasons in Indianapolis, is never out of position. He stays on the field for most third-down plays and his performance last Sunday, when he limited Kansas City tight end Tony Gonzalez to just two catches for 13 yards, was textbook stuff. There simply aren't many linebackers in the league as technically sound and efficient as Washington."

"Technically sound and efficient." Bit of faint praise if you ask me. I guess faint praise is better than none from Pasquarelli.

It is great to see some love thrown MW's way. It shouldn't suprise anybody that it took so long since our own team took forever to release his jersey, still just in one color.

Re: Let's Show Marcus Some Love
what has gotten into pastabelli. I hate him and stupid Dr.Z , who do they think they are jumping on MY bandwaggon. First off Dr.Z can't be on it because he said we would win 4 games. Secondly fattness can't be on it due to the sheer laws of physics his tub of lard will bring the entire waggon down. I don't like these two but lately they have been trying to correct their wrong doings.

that's how it is, whenever they are wrong they always work to correct their mistakes before it brings their reps down.
