Sam Howell takes Down Dallas postgame

Undermanned, undercoached, underkicked and underbelieved, yet my man Sam Howell comes in, he had his rookie moments but overall showed he is our QB moving forward.

Loved and expected what I saw from him and yes I expected him to win this game.Howell was handcuffed by Turner and I guarantee he would have gone off.

Do you guys believe now?

John Ridgeway had a great game till her got hurt
Percy Butler
Khaleke Hudson
Fuller

I thought if Howell lead 3-4 scoring drives would be a good day, he exceeded my expectations.

It’s really a damn shame Terry and Dotson dropped a couple really nice balls as well.

I like him and he’s a better passer than Heinike. I think that was the biggest take away today.

If Turner and Rivera weren't such pussies and had a little bit more faith, Howell could have gone off even with that shitty OL and 4th and 5th string RB's. This is the mighty playoff bound cowboys he took down.

The vanilla Gorilla had an outstanding game, he stopped Dallas running game till he got hurt before the half. Danny Johnson, Fuller, Butler and Khaleke Hudson played great.

When the offense cant stay on the field and gives them no hope of victory Id imagine its alot tougher on the D. Fuck Rivera and his Wentz bullshit. Should never have to see either idiot anywhere near our team again. Oh and Scott Turner is a fuckin fraud just like Ron. Time to clean house and move forward with Sam. Best thing about him is he knows exactly when to tuck and run. There is zero hesitation.

Re: Sam howell takes Down Dallas postgame

wtf was up with joey slye today?

howell looked good for sure, 1st passing TD, 1st rushing TD, 1st win, and we even got over 20 points (thanks dallas!)

The sample size is still small and they ran a lot today, but he ran well and he had some accurate bombs, which is encouraging. Unless Tom brady is coming here, I'd rather roll the dice on him w/ TH as a backup (assuming no one wants to pay him) vs getting another retread like carr, and drafting a QB if it's a good value pick.

QB isn't solved until it's solved. 2nd priority is still O-line... well 4th priority after new owner, new gm, etc.

Joey Slye needs to go!! They need to draft a couple of OL, LB, CB and resign Payne and we'll be set. Howell is the future, I believe!!

Perfection is the enemy of good enough - this mentality is how we lost Gano. Did Slye cost us the game? He had a bad game today but a decent season. If a better kicker is available ok try him out

I've seen Slye miss many extra points and FG's over the years, don't need inconsistent kickers, there are some decent young guys out there that I would give a chance.

Sam Howell is our QB next year.

Fire Turner, fix the line, and let's go!!!

That sounds like what I saw. Here's hoping this team is turning a page in its history.
