Redskins "Party" Decks Finished
Images of the Redskins’ 400-level standing decks - DC Sports Bog - The Washington Post
Those party decks look horrible. But hey, it is a business. Alls I know is if I bought a standing room ticket to a game I'd wait until I spotted some empty seats and I'd take them at first opportunity. I thought when they first made the announcement they would flatten out the ends of the upper deck some and make it a party-type atmosphere up there. Instead it looks like they just took seats out and decided to sell tickets as-is.

Re: Redskins "Party" Decks Finished
If this was an option when i was in college around there, id be all over this. If say you were in a frat at one of the many schools up there, buy 10-15 and say 4-6 parking passes and just throw down.

Re: Redskins "Party" Decks Finished
Definitely looks like crap. I thought they were susposed to be over the new big screens, which would have made them club - so i now realize that doesnt make sense.
Id prefer to stand when at a game, which you cant really do anywhere, so i like the idea of party decks. I like that theres a little shelf to put a beer on, but a bar to put your foot on would be nice.

Re: Redskins "Party" Decks Finished
Its not the best view for a game but at that price its a good deal. I also like how they are on separate levels for better viewing unlike the Dallas one which is flat.

Do they plan on cutting down those metal support pieces that now support nothing? I think it would change the look of the stadium to something significantly cooler.

One of them is above the new big screen. That party deck was done last year.

My easy chair still looks like the best option.

Re: Redskins "Party" Decks Finished
It looks like it is in the general area my seats used to be in. Walking those stairs made me a little nervous because they were so steep. Now picture a "party deck" where you have a bunch of drunks standing, bumping into each other and that is an accident waiting to happen.
Dang, do I sound like an old fart or what? |

It has been about 4 or 5 years, and EVERY year they email me asking me to come back - I am sure I am not special, so they just don't have any sort of waiting list anymore. |

Good thing tickets are cheap for that area. Still, give me my 46" plasma and Sunday Ticket any day.
