Statement Win! Commanders Victory Post Game Thread
That was an absolute gem. Completely took me by surprise and still cannot believe it. We still cannot stop the run which puzzles me. Also our secondary is poor. Our defense is clearly a work in progress.
How bout our O line though? Obviously JD is good, but we all new that, but the O line…wow. Have not seen a quarterback with that much time since the Hogs. I was really down on Kingsbury but he was on fire tonight and the offense is buying what he is selling. I will be smiling bout this all week. Also I hope Ekeler is back sooner than later. He is has been an intricate part of our O. 116 all purpose yards tonight before the injury? |

Also, yeah, defense is a working progress, but having a productive offense can help with the defensive deficiencies.

Yes if one of the links is broken the chain doesn’t work right, but I think our very expensive DT group needs to step it up regardless. |

agreed with that 100% . . . but they are both getting doubled continuously while our edge defenders are sometimes being handled by RB's and TE's rather easily. If we were better on the outside it would certainly help them out a bit in the middle. But that is no excuse for the missed tackles like Payne had yesterday, i think i counted 3 or 4 on him that ended up in first down runs. That should not be happening!

Part of the OL looking good is Cincy was down 2 starting DTs... so that probably helped.

I should be in bed, but I can't do it. I just want to stay up and watch the same highlights over and over
JD was absolutely fantastic, but what stood out to me the most is the FAITH this coaching staff has in him. It's unbelievable. Conservative? Nope - let's go for it on 4th and 4. 3rd and 7 - play for the FG and go up 8? Nope - let's throw a bomb to TM and end this bitch! If we had a defense, we would be serious contenders this year. I hope Ekeler is ok. He's been a big part of this offense and is obviously a threat on the kick return. |

Re: Statement Win! Commanders Victory Post Game Thread
The key is our offense scoring every single possession for 14 more games.
Our defense is flat out dogshit. I'm absolutely trading Jonathan Allen if the offer is remotely reasonable. He's all bark, no bite.

Re: Statement Win! Commanders Victory Post Game Thread
Just read that as between Brady, Brees, Manning and Mahomes, they’ve collectively had 2 games in which they’ve scored in every drive excluding kneel downs. Daniels has managed that twice in 3 games. The odds of that in back to back games is 1 in 1.7 million.
Love that Taylor-Britt got burned for a TD and committed a drive sustaining penalty. Karma baby. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
