Re: Skins-Giants: Game ball time!

i voted for portis. moss would seem to be the easy choice considering his numbers, but portis was the true workhorse today, even when the run game was not gaining huge amounts of yards, portis kept on surging and in the 2nd half it looked as if he just kept getting stronger and stronger.

santana moss did have a kick ass game though.

portis and moss for me, the run set up the pass, even when the skins weren't running the ball well they stuck to it, and it paid off in the end.

In addition to Portis, I want to mention Frost. FINALLY he gets off some good punts.

frost did punt well today. the skins were able to pin NY deep in it's own territory a few times.

True. We should look to upgrade in the offseason. Andy Groom seemed to be more consistent and a had a stronger leg but, the knock on him was that he didn't hold for PATs. Hopefully, he's been practicing.

I think we still have Tupa on IR, so hopefully he'll be back next year.

Re: Skins-Giants: Game ball time!

Any redskin fan watching the game should be giving their game ball to Will Allen.

In all seriousness, do not overlook your punter and coverage squad who pinned the Giants inside the 5 twice and once put them on the 6. Plays like that make it A LOT easier on your defense, especially when playing at home.

Re: Skins-Giants: Game ball time!

I voted for Moss it was a no brainer cause every catch he had to work for. But you gotta give it up to the offensive line. Brunnel could have lounge chair back there. And without that line blocking the they are portis wouldnt have come alive the way he has. Am I the only one that saw Big Dockery down field with Moss on that screen ---chuggin boy. Bein a former o-lineman i love to see that kind of stuff.

Dude, there's enough love for everybody on this team. Hey, put Ray Brown on the poll too!
