Redskins sign Citadel running back July 19, 2005 ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- The Washington Redskins signed seventh-round draft pick Nehemiah Broughton on Tuesday. The Citadel running back was the 222nd overall selection in the NFL draft. The 5-foot-11, 250-pound Broughton ran for 2,638 yards and 25 touchdowns on 581 carries in college. He also had 47 catches for 355 yards and three touchdowns. As a senior, he gained 788 yards on 179 carries.
