Trade out adopt the Eagle building plan (who adopted my plan). Ensure we have multiple 1st rounders in future drafts.

Unless you're in position to draft an elite QB, trading down is always a great option.

We're not getting that at 16, so trading down would work for me. Especially with how many good CBs there are. We could potentially trade down and still hit at a position of need.

Trades are hard to predict tho, it takes 2 to tango.

With next year being such an unknown, I'm about losing a little bit of value THIS year for getting a better choice next year. We truly have no idea what this team will look like coaching-wise, player-wise, etc. when it comes to new ownership.

I just don't want Ron blowing his wad trying to win now and cost us if he gets fired.

In this mock, I traded down 8 picks to #24 with Jacksonville, and also netted a 2024 2nd round pick.

This draft is assuming we replaced Logan Thomas in free agency, and also signed a Tackle, Veteran QB, and a CB in free agency.

47: R2 C John Michael Schmitz - Minnesota
97: R3 LB Noah Sewell - Oregon
118: R4 Edge/DT Colby Wooden - Auburn
152: R5 HB Deuce Vaughn - Kansas State

215: R7 CB Darrell Luter Jr. - South Alabama

Those top 3 picks are my dream picks regardless of what else happens in FA. I would even take Torrence at 16 if we can’t trade down and still get him. Schmitz is gonna be a stud and is a day one starter. Sewell has huge potential and will be there at 97.
