The Gud, the bad and the Great. Eagles Post Game Reactions

46 throws and we win? And zero Ints? Growth?

Gud: Garçon toughness on that last drive, cousins not turning the ball over, Run defense, we ran for 120+ tough yards, Our new kicker looks great

The bad: too many big plays in the passing game, penalties

The GREAT: that last drive, keeping with the run game and it paid off with Alfmo delivering us to the 50 yard line last drive, 5 sacks...the toughness of culliver playing when our secondary is hurting. Crowder.

Kudos to the coaches bouncing back and getting us back to looking like the team the first two games of the season. We put up 417 yards of offense...not too shabby

Httr!

Garcon is highly underrated. In the past, if he was out, our win/loss record took a nose dive.

Fast enough to outrun the secondary, making circus catches for us since RG3s high fastballs across the middle in 2012, and brings toughness this team has lacked. What's not to love?

The first half d-line was tremendous.
Cousins led a game winning drive. That's big.

Other than that, this was a win where our inability to score early tds and lackluster 3rd quarter should have cost us the game, and would have against a better team.
Our secondary is still bottom third.

The great? The feeling of pulling out a win at the buzzer. Nice.

It's been a long time since we had a nice come from behind last minute win. I forgot what it felt like.

I'm glad we took some shots today...Ross got a nice gain, crowder just missed getting a foot down for a td, we got a pass interference call on another. We got to keep the defense off balance and keep those safeties back

Good:

Our receivers were clutch in the final drive
Chris Thompson
Alf
Good pass protection
Kirk made good decisions. Some of those throws were super tight on the final drive and he was clutch.

Bad:

Ryan Kerrigan had two free shots on Bradford and one of them would have saved a touchdown.
Terrence Knighton gets zero push against a 280lb center.
TEs. Carrier and McCoy were unemployed for a reason before we signed them.

Didn't put Reed in either category. He made some good catches but made a huge mistake on the fumble.

Carrier had a couple of receptions.

The abuse he took run blocking more than made up for it.

One reception he was wide open.

The second was much more difficult and he held on. Good play but he isn't good.

Just my opinion.

The Redskins are killing the time of possession, 41+ minutes today. What is that mean? We have a fucking pretty good OL after years of shit.

Knighton was double and even triple teamed all day. Kerrigan's free shots were directly attributable to Knighton's presence. I also thought there were several runs he pushed the line back.

Right. Pot roast is playing just fine, I'd like to do the extension in the offseason. Also like to see Keenan Robinson get an extension...quietly having a good season.

Man, really happy with our our run defense so far. Philly got some talented backs and we held our own today, again.

Keenan Robinson came on last year and is playing great, I'd extend him for sure.

Definitely. Him and Knighton deserve long term deals.

I respectfully disagree.

Pot Roast played a total of 19 snaps.

He was double teamed 4 times:

0:51 left in 1st quarter, 1st and 10: gets doubled teamed and pushed out of the hole
Demarco Murray runs 30 yards through the hole he just got pushed out of.

15:00 left in 3rd quarter, 1st and 10 he was double teamed

11:25 left in 4th quarter, 1st and 10 double teamed

10:07 left in 4th quarter, 1st and 10 double teamed

Pot Roast was never triple teamed.

When Kerrigan came free to the QB Pot Roast wasn't in the game:

3rd and 7 with 14:54 left in the 2nd quarter

and 3rd and 7 with 8:35 left in the 3rd quarter.

On the 15 snaps when he was 1 v 1 he pushed the pocket once or twice.

Will wager Cooley grades him very badly on the film breakdown this week.

He needs to lose 50 to 60 pounds and get in better shape. He has no push at all if he has to stay in for two plays in a row.

Totally agree on Keenan. Bad Mofo.
