Laron Landry!?
Before I begin, I would like to say that 2-2 feels a hell of a lot better that 1-3, even if it was a bit ugly. With that said, is anyone else as sick as I am of seeing Landry CONSTANTLY AND AIMLESSLY flying 4 feet past ball carriers as he tries to make the highlight hit ?!!!! I am going to go crazy. I wonder if he realizes how retarded he looks when he does that?? Someone needs to teach that dude how to tackle.

He did make the critical TFL in the redzone.

Re: Laron Landry!?
Laron Landry could be a huge playmaker in this defense if he would just play smarter. I wish Blache would just move him back to SS and we could start Moore or find someone else to be free safety because LL so far has been a liability for the most part. Yes he's had some good tackles like the tfl in the red zone but for the most part he needs to step his game up.

Re: Laron Landry!?
I (Reed Doughty) will show him how it's done. While I'm at it, I'll pull that stupid ass stud out of his lip.

Re: Laron Landry!?
3rd year pro now and was the 6th overall pick. he needs to start making plays on a consistent basis really soon. starting to worry that hes never going to be great.

Re: Laron Landry!?
So far Landry hasn't done anything to help the defense. I did see him make a tackle or two yesterday, but saw him miss several others. Unless he changes, I think we wasted a high draft pick.

Re: Laron Landry!?
It was funny. I said this week 1 or 2, but the announcers said it yesterday. I would just have Landry spend a week holding onto London Fletchers pocket, and just have him doing tackling drills all practice.

He closes his eyes 5 yards before he hits anyone.

Re: Laron Landry!?
what has he ever done to validate his number six overall pick in a redskin uniform? hes getting deserved complaints from fans who want to see him live up to his hype.

Re: Laron Landry!?
He is definately better suited to play SS. We drafted him to be a ball hawk and play closer to the line of scrimmage. He isn't doin anyone good playing so far off the line of scrimmage.

Re: Laron Landry!?
Once again picks don't mean a damn thing if you can't judge talent. Just ask the RAIDERS who constanly give away players ( R.Moss,C.Woodson,D.Hall) or have high draft picks (J.Russell,Hayward-Bey,R.Gallery,D.McFadden) that have not produced.
