When Dallas signs Ware, they will have to pay amazing $$$ to top the deals of AH and Suggs.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw that Suggs signed. Ware deserves more than Suggs. Haynesworth? don't know about that. I think Ware's starting price is gonna be upwards of $45 mil. guaranteed.

Well let's not forget the Pats signed Adalius Thomas to a lot of $$ and didn't get the same production out of him that Baltimore got.

Good point Ruhskins. Even the Pats aren't perfect.

Re: Suggs sign 6 yr. $63M deal ($38M guaranteed) with Baltimore
Wonder why it's always been so hard for the Ravens to sign him. This would've been his second year being the franchise player and they always said signing him to a long term deal was their #1 priority. Wonder if there was some doubt in him, whether he was a system guy, or his attitude, but it took a long time to get done when it was their most important task.

Re: Suggs sign 6 yr. $63M deal ($38M guaranteed) with Baltimore
I think they have some doubt. The deal is very front-loaded, which is because of the no-cap thing next year, but they also won't be on that much of a bind if they want to get rid of him after these next two years. And that is around the time Ray Lewis and some of the other old guys will be leaving and then they can make a judgment about whether he is what he is or is a product of those around him. I think it's more Haloti Ngata getting double teams and Trevor Pryce occupying guys too. I think Suggs is just a good pass rusher that is able to run free because the other guys around him are so solid. I have never really wanted him because of that worry and I never felt he fit our system as a 4-3 DE and I have never been a believer of him as a linebacker.

Suggs, to me, always looks like a ****ing idiot. He's got a bad, bad case of "idiot face."
it's still not as bad as this clown though... |
