Re: Ncaa 10
I have it reserved at gamestop along with Tiger Woods 2010 and Madden 2010. I have not had the time to pick up NCAA 10 or Tiger Woods yet. Maybe I will do it today, and if I do I will give you an update tomorrow.

Re: Ncaa 10
I have it, but I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'll check it out tonight and let you know.
One thing, they brought the create-a-school back which makes me happy since the school I graduated from doesn't have a football team. |

Re: Ncaa 10
I played it last night and while ringing a dudes bell is cool (them getting up slowly and shaken up) on Defense, I have found that most of the additions to the game were not in the game play department.
On the field it still feels like you are playing 2008 or 2009 only slightly upgraded. Note: the last one that I played was 2008. CB play is better, you cant just run Go routes all day with a great reciever and catch the ball. The CPU is smart enough to double and tripple cover that elite guy. The CPU knows how to use screens and draws to counter a blitz and doesn't just run them at random. All in all the AI is slightly better and there are a couple of visual upgrades, but it still feels like the same game. Wait, I totally forgot that I can celebrate with the Mascott; that makes it all better. |

Did they slow down the speed at all like they were talking about with madden?

The first game that I played I played with VT and kicked off to Alabama. The return man broke it 96 yards against me. I could not tackle him and my attempts to slow him down were feeble. Needless to say I reset the game to get a fresh start. The second time that I kicked off to him he still got a good 40 yards out of the return. Does that answer your question. |

Re: Ncaa 10
I played it a bit over the weekend and I have to say that it's best football game I've played in a while. I really like the Dynasty mode, they changed the ranking system, I guess. I created my school online and started my dynasty with them, it used to be that if you beat the #1 in the nation as an unranked school it would be hard to get past #25 in the next week's rankings, but with this one I jumped all the way to #15. I think proceeded to beat the preseason #2 and #3 (each #1 at the time) and I moved all the way to #6 in the nation. I'm really glad that they changed the rankings and made it easier to move up in them because it was a hassle trying to put a bad team on the map, nationally, now it seems like it will be easier to turn teams around.
As far as gameplay, it takes some getting used to. They made some changes (since I last played it) in buttons and such, so that took some getting used to, but it's definitely worth a buy. I'm very impressed, if Madden is this good, I'll be pretty happy. |

The controls do take a bit of getting used to but it's a solid game.

Re: Ncaa 10
BTW- if anyone is interested in getting the actual player's names in the game, you can download the full rosters using EA locker. You just need to know the gamertag of someone with the roster.

Re: Ncaa 10
NCAA is a every 3 or 4 years purchase for me, i didn't play 09 at all. I have loved 2010 so far, it plays so much better than 08 and it's distinct enough from Madden that I don't feel like i paid twice for the same game. I have heard from friends that buy it every year that it is very similar to 09 though...
