Re: Meet Cody Glenn

I'm happy that we got a linebacker but this guy does not seem to have been on the radar of many people. Perhaps we could have gotten him later, even after the draft. Maybe the FO knows something about him that others don't, however.

WTF. That bio says he isn't a big hitter. God damn we should have traded this pick also then. This draft class really sucks monkey balls past the 2nd round!!!!!

Re: Meet Cody Glenn

I think they wanted him in part because not only does he have upside (god I hate that word) but he also seems like he has the speed to cover from the LB position. It also seems like he's an effective blitzer. However was this guy really the best player on their board where you have Duke Robinson and Jamon Merideth available. Still I'm just glad they didn't take a QB, K, or P.

I'll definately give the guy a shot considering Chris Horton and Anthony Montgomery had low grades and they turned out well for us but I don't know if this qualifies as BPA.

Well I don't know what Robinson and Meredith did, but all these teams passed them over and Atlanta even took another Tackle before we picked. It must be a reason.

Yes they're to good. It likes selecting Man U in Fifa, Detroit in NHL 09, and New England in Madden. It's just not fair

Lol, but Trey Wingo says we drafted Offensive Linebacker.

Good pickup to fill a need. We didn't have any offensive linebackers before.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn

This is a bad choice, especially with Meredeth, Johnson, and Robinson still on the board.

I'm still sulking about that fact, We haven't addressed o-line and Duke Robinson was there but we took cody glenn??? I hope they see diamond in the rough attribute in him cause I'll be bitchin about this pick. It looks like Dallas Sartz all over again.

I bet you if we took Robinson, not only would he make the Team and cut Fabini/Clark, but he is likely to take over RG from Thomas net yr or 2, than Cody Glenn making the team and starting at WLB.

Re: Meet Cody Glenn

Thank you Vinny for another A-class selection. You could have selected Meredith, or Robinson, but you went with a weak side linebacker, not that we need a Strong side linebacker, or that we already have McIntosh and Thomas on the weak side, you ignored the fact that he has only played one year at LB, because he couldn't play RB anymore because of his knee, ankle problems. You overlooked that, bringing this stellar talent to the redskins that can our obvious weak side linebacker voids. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Vinny for ignoring reason and bringing us such stellar talent.

And you overlooked the fact that this is the 5th round. Get over it.

Fifth round, so no talent can come out of 5th round? Let me name a few Talents that came out of the SIXTH round for you, Tom Brady, Terrell Davis, and Shannon Sharp. This guy has no potential, $20 bucks says he won't be on the team next year. Try not to speak out your ass next time.

Out of all of the sixth rounders taken in the last 15 years, how many turned out to be Tom Brady or Terrell Davis, and how many never made a roster?
