Put McCants in. He's already proven he can catch a pass when it needs to be caught.

Ramsey is still playing for coach Spurrier.

Dam that was a bad game.

At least I hope this loss will fire them up for next weeks game.

Thank God for the defense.

Why has Mccants not seen any action...?

The coaching staff has to be honest with themselves and at the barrage of dropped passes that Rod Gardner and Lavernues Coles had. It is a sad commentary when Clinton Portis is sent out on a passing route because the receivers can not separate from their defenders. Whats even more pathetic is that Darnerian McCants has been on the inactive list for two weeks. Darnerian McCants is a true receiver. He can catch and take the ball into the endzone. Gardner is not a 2# receiver. He doesn't use his height and size in the same way bigger receivers like Moss, Owens and others do. Our coaching staff seemed to get anxious in the second quarter for fear of a blowout. We started throwing on every play and totally forgot about Betts and Morton who were paying as a runnning back? Come on let's use these guys.

The only thing I can say about the defense is they have to start Sean Taylor and move Matt Bowen up to the line for more blitzing. If Taylor had been in the game on the 38 yard pass from Warner to Carter the result would have been different. We have to use more blitzing schemes against the Cowboys because Testerverde can't pass with a lot of pressure. Establish the run, short screen passes and excellent defense will win this game on Monday night.

If Galloway didn't drop that sure TD last Sunday, Taylor would have been burned on a play very similar to the one Bowen was burned on.

Exactly.

I'm not going to pile on Bowen for that play, it was perfect execution on the part of the Giants. Taylor would have been equally toasted.

I think we'll see McCants activated this week, just my guess. Will he start ahead of Gardner? I doubt it but we'll see.

If Gardner isn't a #2 WR I have a hard time saying that McCants is. McCants has been just as inconsistent in his limited playing time, he's almost a Gardner clone in size, speed and hands.

I beg your pardon. McCants is nowhere near as bad as Gardner. Gardner's nickname is 50/50. Not McCants. McCants made the big plays last year. 6 TDs for a 3# wideout begs your pardon. Unlike Gardner, McCants uses his size and speed to separate jump and catch above his defender. There is no comparison at all.

LOL so why has he been inactive for the past 2 games then?

Perhaps Gibbs is missing what you see? Maybe you should be begging pardon from Coach Gibbs then.

LOL

Gardner has a had good games, in fact he had a great season under Marty. McCants had a decent season last year, and the year before he fumbled almost every time he caught a pass. In my opinion McCants hasn't proven anything more than Gardner.

McCants led with 6 TD's. I remember Gardner catching a pass against the Giants his first year catching and fumbling on the play. But McCants I don't recall that. McCants was resigned this year. Gardner was in the process of being traded but no one wanted him.

All I want to see is McCants in, when we are in the redzone. You can count on him there.

McCants had a tendency a couple of years ago to catch the ball but then he'd start running and drop the ball while he was running. I think that's why they started using him in the red zone so he wouldn't have to run anywhere after he caught the ball in the endzone

Gardner did have a spectacular catch, but he needs to learn to catch the easy ones, its the hard ones he catches.

last year it looked like mccants had good hands, but speed wasn't really his thing... maybe jacobs should get a try? he looked alright so far...

i don't know though... i've never been gardner fan, and this game didn't help that...
