re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
i feel for the guy.
Credskins made a good point in another thread; Id like to see danny come out and give coach zorn a public endorsement that the organization is behind him, have full faith in him and that he will be the coach next year. come on danny, this is the time when an owner should be looking to instil alil confidence and leadership. (please dont publicly endorse him now and fire him this offseason thoo) go skins!! this is a great opportunity for danny to show us what hes learned the past 10 years. will he step up? will he show he knows when an owner of a team must be heard? |

we give JC years before making an evaluation of what type of player he is, rookie WRs get a 3 year grace period before we can expect production but lets fire our rookie coach who had us in the spotlight for a good 6 week span, bud. go skins!!! ps - your probaly right thoo, given our track record of always looking for the next hot name. i just dont agree with it but fan input does not matter to the front office. I don't know how good a coach JZ can be, lord knows on the ESPN poll the first few weeks of the season, he was the Best coach, as voted by fans, but now he is shell-shocked. He needs this off-season to get here more than any other single person in the organization, to step back, take a deep breath and exhale. I still hope Daniel Snyder would do the right thing, and step up to a podium and, with no hidden agenda, declare that JZ is going to be our coach. Maybe once the season has ended, officially. |

Snyder was embarrassed by the Skins losing to the Bengals. Of course Danny deserves a lot of the blame for having Vinny in the front office and for naming Zorn a head coach before his time. Bottom line: Snyder will fire Zorn and retain Vinny.

Would it be possible to hold onto JZ as an OC and sign someone else as a HC?

re: Zorn feels like worst coach in America.
Dude, why would you even want him as OC? His offensive scheme has already been figured out and makes Norv's offensive scheme look as genius as Martz's when he was on top with the Rams. Only thing I would make Zorn is a QB coach. He has no business as a OC, much less a HC.

Danny never talks to the press or releases a statement during the season unless something tragic (ST's death) happens. He won't be making a statement until after the season is over.

Has Snyder ever said he might release Zorn?

That article just doesn't capture it. On TV he sounded so sad. He looked like he was about to cry! Made me want to give him a hug...............
