This has been their deal for 5 years now. They can't sell the club level stuff so they bribe you to do it by promising regular season tickets. The problem is that the club level tickets are just ridiculously expensive for what you get. You basically get middle of the road seats with couches and TVs inside. I think most fans aren't interested in that. If you just signed up it'll be a good 6-7 years before you sniff regular tickets other than doing this deal.

Good Lord, I'm not rich but I'd love to be a season ticket holder. I would be driving from NJ so the expenses keep going up up up. Sure my girl would want me to pay since I pay for everything else

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.
I got in on a similar deal 3 years ago(the tailgate package), the upcoming season will be my 4th year having these. The deal was I got to skip the season ticket waiting list and get lower level bowl seats. I got to take a private tour of the stadium (the wife, me, and the sales guy) and he showed us which seats where available. We got to tour the locker rooms, coaches offices, and premium boxes as well. So I guess your wondering what the cost was, heres the breakdown:
$1500 (1 time fee to jump the waiting list) $99 (Section 129 aisle per ticket per game) X 2 $350 (Red parking per season) $50 (Tailgate pass per ticket per game, this is the shitty thing) plus taxes and $20 to have tickets fedexed to you. If I wasn't stuck with the stupid Tailgate passes for life Id buy these every year, but the extra grand I gotta throw down for a lousy all you can buffet is kinda expensive. Last year the total for our 2 tickets was around $3600 I believe. I love the seats they are great, section 129 on the aisle on the 128 side but the tailgate is the killer and they are near impossible to resell. Otherwise if I were you Id try to get in on this deal if your seriously interested in purchasing tickets. Call that same guy up and tell him you heard about buying the tailgate passes and lower level season tickets, theres no contract. Damn now I sound like a salesman. Good luck. |

Funny: When I asked the guy how sales were he said they were picking up now that Fassel's name was out of the mix. SWEAR TO GOD HE SAID THAT. People all over Reskin Nation were pissed off about Fassel, maybe Snyder did back off due to fan kick back? In any case fans love ZORN!

as for the tailgate club- avoid at all cost. Its a complete rip off. Its sad becuase it really wouldn't take much effort on the Skin's part to make it a great time. provide better food, and relax the booze prices a bit and you might do better profit wise (volumetrically speaking).

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.
They are always trying to hock those joe gibbs gold level and premier seats, etc. I get at least 3 emails every year and I stand firm in my fight for normal seats. As far as the tailgate passes go, i prefer to grill my own food and drink my own beer outside with the real fans , not a couple of snyder's snobs in the lounge. Sorry but football should be blue collar the way it was in RFK. I wish they would convert some of the club level into normal seats for real football fans who prefer to watch the game in its raw environment not on a plasma tv on a leather couch in a heated lounge. This isn't polo or badmitton you pansies. And those seats are way too expensive. I used to sell beer at the stadium and the club level douches were the worst tippers. Don't know if they didn't know what it was like to earn tips or if they paid so much for the tickets, beer, etc. that they were all tapped out of cash. Anyway there's my rant on FedEx field

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.
my Dad and I had club seats since the stadium opened up until the last two season. we couldnt afford it anymore. The original contracts were different, if you were one of the first people to get tickets it was a fixed price for a ten year contract, those were the 'great deals'. by great i mean you are just paying like 250 a game for ten years...still a lot per ticket. They are constantly trying to get people out of those contracts by upgrading them to dream seats and stuff so their prices can rise.
I agree you shouldnt watch a game live, from a sofa on a tv inside...but what i did like about the club level was we would hang out after the game for a while to watch the other games and stuff, but it was definitly an expensive day..
