Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
After yesterday's game, Jason's stats are pretty comparable to Eli Manning's and Jeff Garcia's. If the Pro-Bowl allowed four quarterbacks on the squad, I think JC would have a real shot at making it.
Eli Manning comp. att. yds. comp% ypa lng td int sack rat. 196 322 2103 60.9 6.53 60 15 11 15 81.3 Jason Campbell comp. att. yds. comp% ypa. lng td sack rat. 189 315 2083 60.0 6.61 54 11 15 80.7 Jeff Garcia 2007 180278 2126 64.7 7.65 69 11 3 14 96.6 |

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
i can read it, but its hurting my eyes....
i guess Eli's stats to this point are a little better but not by much. The eagles are retarded for getting rid of Garcia. |

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
You are crazy. Neither one should make the pro bowl. Eli is an overrated bum. I like JC, its great to have a YOUNG qb with actual potential who seems like he could carry a franchise one day but you are nuts if you think hes a pro bowler right now. His numbers are comparable to Griese, for christs sake. 7 NFC qbs have thrown for more TDs 9 hve more yards. So by your logic if there were four QB spots, the NFC pro bowlers would be Romo, Farve, Garcia and..... Campbell??? Did you forget that guys like McNabb abd Hasslebeck still play in this league? Get outta here.

McNabb doesn't deserve it, Hasselbeck I'll give you.

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
Well, you do have Eli's comp% at "96.53". That's the only reason I went to NFL.com in the first place. I would have taken you at your word otherwise.

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
For some reason NFL.com has yet to update to include yesterday's games, that might account for the discrepancy (though Eli's 96.53 completion rate is clearly a typo).

As for fan voting, am I correct in understanding that the combined fan votes account for 1 single vote? For example, if 1 million people vote Romo for Pro-bowl QB, doesn't that just count as 1 vote for him? Then, all the other votes come from players/coaches? If that's the case, then it's really not as much of a fan-based popularity contest as most would like to believe. However, it can become a player-based popularity contest where future HOFs get in on a mediocre year because of the respect they have around the league.

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
If I were voting for Pro-bowl today, I would pick these guys from the NFC:
1.) Tony Romo 2.) Brett Favre 3.) Derek Anderson That's not to take anything away from JC. In his first year as a starter he has outperformed Rivers (#4), Young (#3), and Smith (#1). And he's on par with Eli Manning (#1). All those guys were top 5 picks, and highly regarded when they were drafted.

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
Not trying to knock JC, he's the first Skins QB iv'e gotten excited about for years.
McNabb will most likely make the bowl this year. 2295 yds, 13 tds 4 ints so far this year and thats throwing to a pack of oompa-loompas. Dude is a beast much as i hate him. |

Re: Jason Campbell vs. Eli Manning
Derek Anderson plays in the AFC.
The third spot for NFC qb is up in th air right now. Farve and Homo are locks. It'll end up being McNabb or Hasslebeck, I guess you can put Garcia and Brees in the discussion but i doubt they'll make it. Poor Garcia, he gets no love. All the dude does is win, but his stats aren't the best. |
