WP: Caldwell Signs; Jansen Is Officially Out for the Year
The Washington Redskins signed wide receiver Reche Caldwell, a former starter for the New England Patriots, to a one-year contract yesterday. The team also put starting tackle Jon Jansen on injured reserve, ending his season before he undergoes surgery to repair a broken fibula and dislocated right ankle.
