Dolphins Closing In on Green For 7th Rounder (corrected)

Deal 'still likely' in the works to bring QB Green to Dolphins

Re: Dolphins Closing In on Green For 2nd Rounder

This doesn't seem to say much for Culpepper.

Culpepper can still be better than Trent Green. I thought he was improving with every start in 2006, and then all of a sudden Joey Harrington is in.

Accoring to PFR's blog, Joey Harrington secured the title of "Worst QB of all-time" due to his consistent play AND inexplicible longevity. Why does this guy keep getting chances?

Re: Dolphins Closing In on Green For 2nd Rounder

This would be a great move for the Chiefs. Huard deserves to be the starter there, at least for 2007. He earned it with great play in 2006.

Green can still play at a respectable level, I think. He got thrown to the fire last year after returning from the concussion, and then having to play a bunch of really tough pass defenses.

I think this move would make the Dolphins the clear cut 2nd best team in that division. What an honor!

Edwards has said Croyle would get a chance to compete for the starting job, but I think it's Huard's in 2007

What is it with Dolphins and 2nd round picks for QBs? They traded a 2nd for AJ Feeley, a 2nd for Culpepper, and a 2nd now (allegedly) for Trent Green

Joey Harrington may be a Toronto Argonaut next season

They'll have trouble being better than the Bills for bottom of the AFC East. There's a massive overhaul going on in Miami right now.

I guess this is Herm Edwards' way of acknowledging/making up for the mistake he made by benching Huard in favor of Green.

2nd rounder is too much for a 37 yr old qb
