Top 25 sports movies of all time
I just got done watching it on espn classic. To my surprise, my favorite sports movie of all time was #1, Hoosiers. I was thinking Rocky would have topped the list. The first one of course.
Hoosiers is a great, great movie. What's your favorite sports movie of all time? |

I don't even remember rocky being on the list which suprised me. I loved 61*(thomas jane and Barry Pepper, were the spitting images ofmickey mantle and roger maris respectively) and I've heard raging bull is a phenominal movie and I want to see Miracle cuz I've heard thats a really well done movie. Tin Cup was also a really good movie as was Cobb even though cobb was a grade a a**hole. and searching for bobby fischer should have been higher up on the list. plus how can u go wrong with Caddyshack?

wow, no Rocky? Just saw that again. That's a great flick. Much, much richer than the later ones. Stallone's best thing by miles. Best screenplay oscar, maybe?

That's not the one they showed the other day, but it has Rocky on it. Rudy isn't on it though.

Maybe I'm goofy but I really liked Major League and think it should be on the list. I wouldn't call it #1 but it should be higher than Jerry Maguire.

Rocky is definitely on the top of my list. Hoosiers was a great movie though, and I don't have problem with it being ranked #1.
Did Karate Kid make the list? |

I think the list is from the past 25 years. Not all time. Slap Shot was not on it either. It must be older the 25 years.

My favorite sports movie of all time is probably Eight Men Out. Where was that on the list? Was it on the list?
