From today's Post:

Quote:
He said he'll be wearing his Washington Redskins colors for a third straight day under a contract he has with the NFL "because I'm in D.C. I want the crowd behind me, not booing me." Still, he had to think a few seconds before he could name Joe Gibbs as the team's head coach.

Better yet turn the bandwagon around and trample him a few times.

Re: ben curtis

Shameless marketing. Even if he doesn't like the Skins he should be able to name the head coach. Minus one in the man column for this turd ball.

Re: ben curtis

His deal calls for him to wear NFL apparel of the team that plays in or around whichever city he's playing. So, for example, at the Masters he'll be wearing Falcons gear.

Payne Stewart used to have that same deal

Yea he better be getting like a fantasy suite at the Super Bowl or something great to compensate for wearing that stuff he doesn't even seem like a football fan.

Re: ben curtis

I was surprised when I saw Ben wearing the skins stuff and was wondering if he was a skins fan and now I know the deal. I would not knock him for wearing different teams stuff to make a buck and he might not even follow football. I would not wear other teams stuff for a few bucks but if the price was right I could give in. That would be a good poll. How much would it take for you to but on another teams jursey. I'm easy probably 10 grand would do but I would try to get more.

Depends which team, theres a big difference in say putting on a Jets jersey as opposed to a Cowboy or Eagle jersey.

Re: ben curtis

I remember when Payne Stewart would wear Redskins stuff with his huge plaid knickers.

I read an article about Payne and he said he'd purposely wear Redskins gear in Dallas to tick people off. He was a great guy!
