Best and Worst Customer Service
What company/entity do you feel has the best or worst customer service?
Kudos to Bank of America. I can't say enough good things about them. A big F*** You goes to any and all government agencies. The INS and IRS in particular.

Re: Best and Worst Customer Service
Nordstrom. Worked there for about 2 years - never could afford to shop there, but their customer service is basically the best of any company in existence. They will bend over backwards for virtually ANY request - they'll actually screw themselves over financially for the sake of making a customer happy. Of course they make up for it with the super high prices, but still...

Worst? PennDOT is way up there for me (DOTs for all states are probably the same). The receptionists at my doctor's office are pretty unhelpful too - they give that wonderful attitude that seems to say that my business is a nuisance to them.

Re: Best and Worst Customer Service
I was a mangager at Nordy's for a few years - unparalled. Plain and simple.
Worst - I would have to go with Citibank...I hate calling the 800 numbers. You always get someone in India on some three second time delay. And usually they try to refer you to a branch location to assist you. The only problem with that is when you call them it's usually midnight here (if you're at a bar and your card is repeatedly getting denied because you drink too much) and it's the middle of the day there. Stinks!!! |

Worst customer service - At Wendy's.
I don't know what it is, but it seems like each manager at Wendy's somehow manages to find the most ignorant, retarded inbreds this side of West Virginia to work for them. Best customer service - Sprint Not that they are particularly friendly, you can just make threats and they'll give you anything you want.

Re: Best and Worst Customer Service
The Post Office definitely sucks big time.
I've been selling off my CD collection on Amazon, so I've been a frequent visitor to the Post Office the last few months. I have an office on my way home from work that closes at 5. I usually get there by 4:45 and I make sure to not have more than 5 packages so I don't hold things up. I've had the clerk sigh out loud when I put my packages on the counter, and the entire time this jerk kept looking at the clock, and mumbling as people came through the door. At one point he turned to the woman working next to him and said, "Why are we so damn busy today?". As far as good experiences go, DirecTV seems to have their shit together. |

PFCU is pretty good... good % rates, open 7 days a week, working online banking before the other guys.

Re: Best and Worst Customer Service
I've had good experiences with ING Direct - they all speak English as a native language, friendly, helpful, quick, and I think you pretty much always get a person not a machine.
