For the record!

For the record I'm going on a limb during the fiercest NFC East division in many years. Gibbs, Parcells, Reid and Coughlin. Santanna Moss, Portis, TO, Bledsoe, McNabb, Barber, Manning, Arrington, Randel El, etc...

The 2006 Washington Redskins will win the Superbowl.

Gonna be a tough road, but it will be done this season.

I have faith and please refer to this in DEC/JAN and laugh at me if I'm wrong, but I'm calling it now!

SKINS WIN IT ALL!!!

Re: For the record!

lux you ruleim not sure the skins will win it all but it feels good going into the season knowing that the skins indeed do have a legitimate shot at winning it all.just think how quickly coach gibbs has turned this thing around

I'm pretty sure most people on this website are thinking the same thing, so ur not really making a brave prediction or anything.

The Redskins will go as far as Brunell takes us. He has enough tools on the offensive side of the ball and a defense that will give him all the opportunities he needs. If he has a year like last year... it could happen. Let's hope he doesn't have a season like 1994.

Are we still holding our breath with Brunell and the possibility that Campbell will have to start some games in place of Brunell eventually?

Re: For the record!

It's been a very long time since I actually felt like we've got a legit shot going into the year. It feels great but there is alot of work to do and Brunell's health is probably the key IMHO.

The best part for me is that I work with both Giant's and Cowboy's fans who for years have given me a ton of crap about the Skin's. Now...things have changed. Even they know better than to bet against Joe Gibbs with this much talent and these assistant coaches...I can see it in their eye's...I love it!! I just keep saying, "are you going to bet against Joe Gibbs?" They just shake their head's and keep their mouths shut for a change.

This is the year I get the last laugh....For me if we win the NFC East and beat the Cowboys and Giants...I'll be a happy man...when we win the Super Bowl it will be icing on the cake. Beat them and we're on our way because the team that comes out of our division will represent the NFC.

Re: For the record!

Barring major injury to the O-Line, Portis, Brunell, or Moss (I'm confident our D can overcome injuries) and Sean Taylor returns, we'll definately go deep into the playoffs. I think we have about a 40-60 shot of winning it all.

Re: For the record!

The Redskins will win the NFC Championship game, whether they win in the SB or not I'm not too sure. I laid a bet right after the SB. If the Redskins win the SB I win $2400, if they win the NFC Championship game I win $700.
