NFL | Teams received $2.481 million in "performance based pay"
Fri, 17 Mar 2006 22:19:55 -0800

Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports each of the 32 NFL teams received $2.481 million to distribute to players on the active roster in the "performance based pay" distribution that is part of the NFL's collective bargaining agreement. The fund is set up to reward players whose salary does not reflect the amount of playing time they received.
