Sick and tired of this Martz talk...

I am a bit annoyed because some people think we should get Martz to help us on offense, and people were saying that mid-season. I think Gibbs should think about his options, like he always does, but NO Martz. We do not need someone that high-profile for what, a offensive coordinator?? Plus he is a fruitcake...

Beyond the Gibbs superiority stuff i think martz would make this a passing team and that isn't what we are.

If fans are complaining about this team and feel a need for change after we make the playoffs for the first time in 6 years, then they're ungrateful in my book. It's the Snyder syndrome. It's like cutting off your nose to despite your face. People are too impatient and don't know how to enjoy the game of football any more. If people are in love with Martz that much, go root for whatever team he coaches for next and let us Redskins fans stick with a winner.

Exactly, In most cases things dont happen overnight. I mean your not gonna hire a new coach and win the superbowl the same season. Winning takes time, and expecially if you want the tradition to be long lasting. Relax, enjoy a season that exceeded most expectations. The road to XLI begins now.

Martz will be in line for another HC job... he's not coming here.

I wouldn't want to see Martz come here. His style is the exact opposite of what Gibbs likes. I honestly believe that with a FEW tweaks to our personnel and playbook, we would be in great (home-field) shape.

I don't want dramatic changes to anything. Why dramatically change the roster or coaching staff when we were so close to "the game?" That said, a few small changes are in order.

If Martz came here, we'd have Antonio Brown and Jimmy Farris getting 10-12 targets a game and Portis rushing 5 times a game.

No thanks.

Definitely pass on Martz. We don't need him here. With the addition of another solid WR I think we should be better spreading the ball around next season. You think Brunell looks at anyone besides cooley, moss and portis really?

martz is like SS only with NFL success... he's meddlesome, and he gets mad if his team doesn't pass 60 times a game.
