Marcus Vick & The Draft (Merged Thread)

Classless I know, has caused nothing but problems but I think he can be better than Michael and he might be worth a second or third rounder.

Re: Marcus Vick

Somebody is going to take that idiot pretty high, but it's not going to be us thankfully. His brother is the most overated player in the history of the nfl.

His Brother is the most overrated player in history.....Ryan Leaf, Joey Harrington, Rex Grossman, Tim Couch, David Klinger, Jeff George, Steve Emtman, Chad Pennington, Jason Gamble, Jim Drunkenmiller, Kyle Boller,......only if I had the time to continue.....yea in the history of Football...Vick is the most overrated :yeahright

Uh none of those first round busts and headcases ever came anywhere close to the recognition Mike Vick has recieved over his career. At one point not too long ago many thought he was the best player in the league. You can't rate any higher than that and therefore in my estimation he was and is 100% overrated.

Re: Marcus Vick & The Draft

How tall is Marcus? I watch him play and can't help but think he looks awfully small for the NFL. 6th or 7th round, maybe. More likely it's off to Canada or Europe or the back of Mike's limo waiting for the Falcons game to end.

By the way, I wonder what would happen if he stepped on Joe Salavea's arm?

If he stepped on Salavea's arm, he would be even smaller.

What I have to say though is "Thank you Frank Beamer! Thank you for putting your neck out there to say that no one person is bigger than the game." It seems that we've had way too many prima donnas in recent years who thought that they could pretty much do whatever they wanted and come back to open arms in the locker room. Enough is enough. I'll buy Frank and Andy Reid a beer any day.

Ok I officially have no idea what you are talking about, but that's ok because we have a playoff game today and it's time to kick some ass!

You can't be serious. Jeff George is the only person on that list even close to Vick. Couch and Pennington are a few steps behind. Beyond that, you are basically listing outstanding college players who never developed into decent NFL players. None of those guys have been called "the prototype for the future of their position."

Vick is by far the most overrated.

Re: Marcus Vick & The Draft

yeah he is a class act scum he remminds me of Carter for us or Ross but with more running talent can't pass like carter he will be a waste of a pic for the team that gets him hope Jerry doesn't commits the same mistake twice.

we will go as low as a 3rd and as high as a 2nd

Denny Green will give the boy a chance. Probably early third round.

Wow, the guys is an idiot. First his dirty play, now getting kicked off the team? Seriously, how the heck does he get in trouble off the field knowing he is on his last strike? Hell, with how much money his brother has the least he can do is ask for is a personal chaperon.

He is a junior but there r probably very few colleges who will give him the chance to come in and start for them so he'll probably take his shot at the pros since he destroyed his chances at VT.

someone will take him or did anyone forget that the Broncos used a 3rd round pick on possible future felon Maurice Clarret?
