re: Smithsonian Museum - yet another thread on team name
Quote:
No, and No. The issue has been debated for decades. There's nothing new to discuss. There are no new arguments to be made. We're in a part of the off-season where there is almost nothing of note to discuss, and i'm still not interested in having an actual discusion about the issue. Edit - I see a poll was added to the discussion. I will not vote on issue because i dont think it merits a vote.

re: Smithsonian Museum - yet another thread on team name
So because it's been debated for 20 years means it's not worthy of debate now? Not following that logic.

Its called beating a dead horse, and is a pretty common concept.

And here I thought we were going to talk about all the boring art at the Smithsonian that we saw on our class field trip to DC

I vote for automatic bans for any Redskins "fan" who says yes.
Step up, you two.

Re: Smithsonian Museum - yet another thread on team name
So if we change our name, then the Indians and the Braves are gonna be next? Right? Right?!
If not then everyone really needs to let this go. They find the Redskins offensive but they don't find this offensive?! The hat is actually called the "Screaming Savage" Can't make this stuff up.

Re: Smithsonian Museum - yet another thread on team name
I highly suggest some people read the link posted at the bottom of my post. It is really an excellent read about an issue that plagues our team. Here is a quick excerpt:
