Snyder already owns the rights to the name 'Washington Warriors'. I'm guessing that's the direction they would go if they did change the name.

That's sort of what my old high school did. Apparently back in the day the logo/mascot was of a Native American but when they decided to stop using that they switched to a Robin Hood-looking guy or a knight, which make sense for the Sherwood Warriors.
